Job Title: Sole Appointed Assessor Hourly Rate will be based on part-time and years of experience Qualifications: Two plus years’ experience as an assessor or a minimum of five years of full-time assessor experience. State certification is preferred. Must be able to maintain 100% Level of Assessment. Must have a working knowledge of how to maintain and use the valuation modules in the RPS Program to set assessments. Experience with residential and commercial data collection, maintenance of property record cards, and exemption administration is required. The assessor will work with attorney to resolve tax certioraris. Works with Board of Assessment Review through the Grievance Process. Successful candidate must be able to work well with the public.
