The Town’s Comprehensive Plan is a guiding document used by the Town Board, the Code Enforcement Officer, and the Planning Board for reference to the future development in the Town of Walton.
DOG LICENSE APPLICATION
All dogs 4 months of age and older in the Town and Village of Walton must have a valid dog license.
HIGHWAY ACCESS PERMIT
No person, firm, corporation, association or other organization shall commence the construction, enlargement, alteration, improvement of an access road or driveway from private lands to a town highway located within the Town of Walton, without having applied for and obtained an access permit from the Town Highway Superintendent.

No information will be provided over the phone. All requests must accompany application with appropriate fee, payable to the Town of Walton. Certified Copies are only issued to those named on the record, all other requests should use the Genealogy Application.
Under NYS Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) the Town of Walton will comply with requests for information from the public. To access information, please contact the Town Clerk at the Walton Town Hall between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Requests may be made in person, in writing, or through email. If you have any questions feel free to contact us. Copies of documents cost $0.25 per page or $0.50 for double-sided copies.
